Author’s Note: Ceres turning direct at 02°30’ of Aries inspired me to write Harvest Reliquary. I deliberately chose poppies to represent this piece.
Wheat and poppies are Ceres’ most prominent symbols. Poppies and wheat frequently grow together in the fields of her native lands.
I began working on this before Ceres turned direct and continued until it was pitch perfect. I used the chart as it was at the moment she reversed course.
It culminated in a full collection of lyrical transmissions that are now available on Patreon. It was a remarkable sonic event that fused language and music—which is exactly how I heard it in my head even before I started writing.
